handwrytten spooky season
I created this motion graphic to promote Handwrytten’s 2024 Halloween card release. A variety of text animations and Halloween-themed cards from several designers were featured. Both portrait and landscape versions of this motion graphic were created for different social media platforms.

process
I sketched out a series of text-based screens for the spooky season animation. I chose to use text animations rather than image based animations, so that the greeting cards at the end of the video would make more of an impact. I ended up adding a few more text animation as I was creating it in After Effects to increase the length.
